The couple has made their fortune in the world of sports, and now they plan to make their fortune in the world of digital currency as well. The deal is part of a broader blockchain platform called Football Token X, which will be backed by the New England Patriots quarterback and his supermodel wife.
One of the most well known couples in the world has invested in blockchain and crypto, starting a new investment firm called First Trust, which will focus on emerging technologies like blockchain.
Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady and Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen are the latest celebrities to confirm the growing acceptance of the cryptocurrency sector.
West Realm Shires Services, FTX Trading Limited and Blockfolio, the three companies behind FTX’s major global crypto-currency exchange business, announced Tuesday a long-term partnership with Brady and Bundchen.
As part of the deal, the legendary footballer and model will get stakes in FTX Trading and Cryptocurrency. Brady will be FTX ambassador and Bundchen will take on the role of advisor for FTX’s environmental and social initiatives, working on initiatives to reduce the company’s carbon footprint.
The two celebrities will also donate several million dollars a year to charity during the partnership.
According to Brady, the new partnership is a new initiative that demonstrates the unlimited potential of the cryptocurrency industry:
This particular opportunity showed us the importance of educating people about the power of cryptocurrencies while helping our communities and the planet. We have the opportunity to create something very special here and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together.
Bundchen expressed confidence that cryptocurrency adoption will continue to grow steadily, noting that the best part of the partnership for her is the environmental potential of the technology. What attracted me most to this partnership was the potential to use resources to restore the country and enable people to live better lives, which will lead to real change in our society, she said.

Brady is getting more and more involved in the crypto-currency industry. In April, it announced its own non-payment token platform. The football star hinted that he has invested in the world’s largest cryptocurrency, bitcoin (BTC), and ended up becoming a big bitcoin bull. On Monday, Brady admitted on Twitter that his participation in the laser-eyed flash mob has not been conducive to bitcoin trading.
Okay, the laser eyes didn’t work. Anyone have an idea? https://t.co/43WyShRxr2
